Si appresta a pubblicare il suo nuovo album il buon Grant-Lee Phillips, che ammette “I’m drawing from the urgency of the moment“, come a dire che il momento storico in cui viviamo richiede queste canzoni e noi, ovviamente, le prendiamo con gioia. “Widdershins” uscirà  il 23 febbraio 2018, via Yep Roc Records, ed è anticipato dal singolo “Totally You Gunslinger” e, a quanto sembra dalle parole dell’artista, nell’album ci sarà  più di un collegamento emotivo proprio con i lavori targati Grant Lee Buffalo.
