Si inizia a fare luce sul vasto archivio di composizioni mai pubblicate da Joni Mitchell.

Il “Joni Mitchell Archives” è una nuova serie di box-set che tratterà  i diversi periodi della carriera musicale della cantautrice canadese.

La prima ‘puntata’ uscirà  il 30 ottobre: “Joni Mitchell Archives Vol. 1: The Early Years (1963 To 1967)” raccoglie in 5 CD 6 ore di registrazioni casalinghe, live e perfomance radiofoniche, tutte realizzate nei mesi precedenti all’uscita del debut album datato 1968.

Oltre all’annuncio e il lancio di nuovo sito web e vari canali social (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter e YouTube) la Mitchell svela oggi un primo estratto dalla prossima pubblicazione.

“House Of The Rising Sun” è considerata la prima traccia composta dall’artista, all’epoca diciannovenne, e qui l’ascoltiamo nella versione live eseguita negli studi di CFQC AM emittente radiofonica della sua città  natale Saskatoon (Saskatchewan, Canada).
