Le tanto attese nominations agli Oscar 2022 sono arrivate.
In corsa per la statuetta come “Miglior Film Straniero” troviamo il nostro Paolo Sorrentino con “E’ Stata La Mano di Dio” nominato insieme al giapponese “Drive my car” di Ryà»suke Hamaguchi, il danese “Flee Di” di Jonas Poher Rasmussen (anche in corsa come miglior film d’animazione), “Lunana: a yak in the lassroom” di Pawo Choyning Dorji, dal Bhutan, e il norvegese “La persona peggiore del mondo” Joachim Trier.
Sorrentino, che un Oscar lo ha già vinto nel 2014 con “La Grande Bellezza”, ha così commentato la notizia:
Sono felicissimo di questa nomination. Per me è già una grande vittoria. Questo è un motivo di commozione, perchè è un riconoscimento prestigioso ai temi del film, che sono le cose in cui credo: l’ironia, la libertà , la tolleranza, il dolore, la spensieratezza, la volontà , il futuro, Napoli e mia madre…
e ancora:
Per arrivare fin qui, c’è stato bisogno di un enorme lavoro di squadra. Dunque, devo ringraziare Netflix, Fremantle, The Apartment, gli attori straordinari e una troupe indimenticabile. E poi i miei figli e mia moglie, che mi amano nel più bello dei modi: senza mai prendermi sul serio.
La notte degli Oscars 2022 si terrà , nella storica location del Dolby Theatre di Hollywood di Los Angeles, il prossimo 27 marzo.
