In questo 2018 Renato Malizia e il suo The Blog That Celebrates Itself ci hanno deliziato con delle compilation tributo dedicate a gruppi che hanno davvero fatto la storia, basti citare Smashing Pumpkins, Moose, Adorable, Lush o Flaming Lips, giusto per mettere sul piatto nomi fondamentali.
Ora è tempo di tributare la doverosa ovazione ai Dinosaur Jr.
La compilation tributo si chiama “Little Fury Things” e non va ricordata solo per l’ottima selezione di brani e peer il sound presente, ma anche perchè segna i 10 anni di attività del blog e dell’etichetta brasiliana. Ecco le parole stesse di Renato: “In these 10 years of TBTCI, almost 3000 bands went through the pages of TBTCI, imagine you, almost 3000 bands !! And there are still people who say there’s nothing new in the music right now, you poor bastards, they don ´t know anything“. Un vero e proprio eroe.
Lode quindi a questa magnifica realtà che continua a dispensare perle. Grazie Renato!
