Patrick Doyle, il batterista dei Veronica Falls, con cui aveva pubblicato due album, l’omonimo esordio (2011) e “Waiting For Something To Happen” (2013), è purtroppo deceduto ieri.
Non ci sono ancora conferme ufficiali, ma la notizia è stata riportata da prestigiose testate come Brooklynvegan, Clash, NME e Mirror. Numerosi anche i commenti commossi postati da ex compagni di band e altri musicisti che lo conoscevano attraverso i social network, tra cui anche Alex Kapranos dei Franz Ferdinand.
Il musicista inglese aveva lavorato anche con Sexy Kids e The Royal We, oltre che per i due suoi progetti, Boys Forever e Basic Plumbing.

I am heartbroken by the news of the death of my friend, Patrick Doyle.
Smart, funny, a great musician…. I can’t sum up his life on here.
